Additional Information:Our busy cleaning company needs an Operations Assistant with excellent time management skills and a proven track record of setting and meeting ambitious goals in the janitorial industry. We’re looking for a candidate with considerable managerial experience who can recruit new talent, allocate both human and material resources efficiently, communicate with management and coordinate with other team members on time-sensitive projects. This position is permanent full time with approximately 40 hours per week with an option to participate in a cost shared medical dental plan.
Responsibilities:- Develop and adhere to operations budget. - Respond to customer concerns or complaints and remediate quickly effectively and cost efficiently. - Develop and train staff to adhere to cleaning schedules and proper cleaning practices. - Learn and use a cleaning software package for time management and operational efficiency. - Be ultimately responsible for having sufficient and qualified staff in place to perform required cleaning duties as stated in scopes of work. - Keep track of staffing requirements and hire new talent as needed to correspond with specific duties and skill sets. - Communicate with management and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with safety and other governmental regulations.
Essential Skills:Other: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration would be an asset. - 2+ years operations experience in the janitorial industry. - Cleaning experience. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. - Refined ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to key personnel. - Advanced written and verbal communication skills. - Possession of key competencies, including conflict management, business negotiation, organization and decision-making.
