Main Street Shoe Repair is a service and retail outlet that has operated in Bible Hill for 19 years.  We provide a full range of services from zipper repairs to much larger sewing projects such as (automobile) soft tops and convertibles.  We aspire to identify, orientate and train a high potential candidate in preparation for the assumption of Business Manager.

As a Business Manager Trainee, you will be tasked with:

  • Promoting and selling products and/or services to all customers, over the counter or by phone to meet the customer’s needs
  • Working collaboratively and effectively with existing staff members
  • Acquiring hands-on experience in repairing customer’s belongings
  • Accurately completing administrative and operational tasks including phone calls, invoicing, inventory control, and cash reports
  • Fostering relationships with existing customers and suppliers

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Energy and enthusiasm and present in a friendly and professional manner
  • Superior hand-eye coordination; manual dexterity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and constructively with customers and coworkers
