Come join our team!!  Walton Pub & Eatery is a busy family owned and operated restaurant located in the beautiful community of Walton, NS on the shores of the Bay of Fundy.  The tourists love it!  We are looking to hire a Cook for our busiest season of all.  If you’re interested, let us know right away!


  • Experience cooking in a busy commercial kitchen
  • Cook or Culinary Arts Diploma/Certificate required
  • Food Handlers course
  • Reliable transportation
  • Punctual and responsible
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Works well under pressure
  • Strong team player
  • Familiar with monitoring inventory and supplies
  • Creative and motivated
  • Able to lift 50-60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Opportunity for full-time employment
Other Requirements :


  • Prepare all menu items
  • Create daily specials
  • Set up stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prep food for service
  • Answer, report and follow instructions by owner
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work area while complying with nutrition and sanitation and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Salary Range: $13 to Start (negotiable depending on experience)

With support from Tandus and the Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium, it was very rewarding to tailor and coordinate a customized response as part of our strategy to support both those affected by the closing of the Truro manufacturing site, and other manufacturers within the region that had current vacancies.
