The Ice Cream Float is the Earltown General Store’s newly added project as of last year. Adjacent to the building, it is a bright, clean and air conditioned space. Ice cream scoopers enjoy a fun line of products to serve, a great view and pleasant summer time crowds of travellers to serve and chat with.

The position requires scoopers to:

  • Serve ice cream, floats and other signature offerings
  • Follow health and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work space
  • Stock utensils, cones and other serving items
  • Operate a till
  • Water flowers
Other Requirements :

Ice cream scooping requires mindful use of your wrists and strong arms to avoid injury.

There is also lifting of ice cream tubs, so scoopers must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.

Salary Range: $12.00-$12.50 per hour
