Job Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Deliver programming as directed
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses who could provide support or services for EHYL programming
  • Source funding/granting opportunities that align with the principles and goals of EHYL and complete/submit required applications, to support both sustainability and specific projects, with the goal of growing the program
  • Promote programming and resources within the community
  • Refer participants to community resources as required
  • Supervise other staff, or volunteers, as directed
  • Ensure all policies and procedures for program delivery are followed and maintained
  • Track statistical information, as necessary to specific programs
  • Ensure participant contact information, program assessment documents, and other related records are maintained and kept confidential
  • Attend monthly meetings of the organization and prepare monthly reports; prepare other reports as required
  • Attend professional development opportunities as requested
  • Available to work a flexible schedule (up to 10hrs/wk; occasional weekends)
Other Requirements :
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent educational or work experience
  • Proven program coordination, time management, organizational and administrative skills
  • Demonstration of strong interpersonal and team-work skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An understanding of youth programming principles
  • Experience in program delivery would be considered a strong asset
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • First Aid with CPR Level C is required, as is a Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Check
