Located on Station Road in Tatamagouche, Big Al’s is open 7 days a week and prides itself on good quality, home-style cooking.   We are currently hiring 2 dishwashers.

Duties include: 

  • Directly supporting the food services operation by working in the dishwashing area;
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all food service plateware, glassware, and equipment
  • Cleans and maintains kitchen area and equipment as scheduled
  • Loading and unloading dishwasher
  • Rolling flatware
  • Taking out compost, recycables and garbage
  • Clearing food prep area when requested
  • Be aware of surroundings and jump in where needed
Other Requirements :
  • Be organized and take initiative
  • Be a strong team player
  • Follow direction from the manager/supervisor
  • Physically fit and able to work on your feet for 8 hours or more
  • Able to lift 40 lbs and comfortable using stairs
  • Food Handlers course an asset
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Salary Range: $12.55 per hour for 30-35 hours per week
