Our objective is to meet our clients’ need by providing them with the highest quality of products and services.  We specialize in solving unique problems with unique solutions and currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Material Handler / Assistant CNC laser Operator to join our Specialty team. We are a locally owned and operated metal fabrication company located in Debert, only a 10 – minute commute outside of Truro.

As a Material Handler / Assistant Operator you will be primarily responsible to assist in the operation of a CNC machine to produce components according to product requirements and to meet production goals while maintaining quality of product.  You will be entrusted to inspect and supervise machine during operation to ensure correct output, troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise, load and unload products – handling products with utmost care, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of warehouse.

This is a permanent full-time position offering $14.00 – $15.00 per hour to start.  Following the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period there will be a wage review and you will be offered a comprehensive benefit package.  After one year of employ, you will be eligible for a deferred profit-sharing plan.

Your qualifications:

  • Forklift certification is preferred
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License is mandatory
  • Basic computer skills
  • Thrive in a team environment and is committed to producing quality to our client
  • Attention to detail, time and priority management are necessary for success
  • Preference will be given to applicants with production or industry experience
