Part Time Administrator

The Women’s Institutes of Nova Scotia, WINS continue to provide opportunities to enhance the quality of life, through education and personal development, allowing us to meet the changing needs of our local and global communities.

We are in search of a part-time Administrator for our provincial office, located in Bible Hill.  As our Administrator, you will be entrusted with the day-to-day office tasks, including bookkeeping, acting as the liaison between the local branch and our board of directors, and taking responsibility for the recording of meeting minutes and their circulation.

The position offers a starting wage of $15.00 per hour, for 15-20 hours per week with a tentative start date of June 4, 2019.   We recognize the importance of a work-life balance and will be flexible in the shift scheduling to accommodate the needs of the successful applicant.

Qualifications:

  • Professional and charismatic with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preference will be given to candidates with administrative experience
Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
