Serenity Lodge is looking for a good caring person to join our team of staff.  Serenity Lodge is a Residential Care Facility caring for 6 seniors.  Our setting hopes to create a family like atmosphere that enables the senior residents to be treated with the compassion and dignity that they so deserve.   We have a holistic approach to our care, where the resident’s entire needs are encompassed in our care plans.  We are looking for someone who is trained or has experience and is willing to be trained, is enthusiastic, loving and enjoys working with this age group.  This successful candidate must have the ability to be a team player, take direction and to work independently.

This position would be for the night shift both 8 and 12 hour shifts- Hours would be 72 hours/biweekly. We want to attract someone who is interested in giving quality care at a relaxed pace.  This is a full time permanent position.

After 3 months of employment, the chosen staff would be eligible to join our medical/insurance benefit plan and our 5.95% matching RRSP plan.

Other Requirements :

Required certificates:

  • CCA or experience with a willingness to be trained
  • First Aid
  • NVCI (Non Violent Crisis Intervention)
  • Alzheimer and Dementia course would be an asset
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)


Salary Range: $15.90-$17.95 Depending on training/experience
