To those affected by the recent news of Tandus’ closure in Truro, check out this message from Stanfield's.

Stanfield's
We at Stanfield's are sad to learn about the announced closure of our long time manufacturing neighbour here in Truro, Tarkett North America (formerly Crossley Carpet Mills).

We have both seen a lot change over the years. It's just another loud and clear message that together as consumers we must rally behind and support #MadeInCanada.

We're proud to share that our Made in Canada focus is working. Our Stanfield's brand is growing and expanding. We are committed to Made in Canada and we are committed to Truro - this year marks our 163rd year in business.

Today we are bursting at the seams and are in need of really great people to add to our team. In 2019 we have added 16 new members to our team, bringing the total to 300.

We continue to expand and have an immediate need for a number of positions. We anticipate adding 50 new members to our Truro team in the near term. We continue to grow and evolve - give our social media pages a look - we might surprise you! We aren't your grandfather's underwear company any more!

To the carpet factory employees, we are so sorry for the tough news. We encourage you to watch for opportunities on our careers section (www.stanfields.com/careers). Feel free to drop in to 1 Logan Street or email [email protected] with your resume.
