Working on a 4 on, 4 off basis, the morning baker will be responsible for baking and preparing food for a busy restaurant. Working the hours of 4AM – 1PM, this position is challenged with multi-tasking, the need to think a few steps ahead, time management and good team communication skills.
The morning baker is responsible for keeping our donut display stocked (muffins, cookies, donuts, timbits etc.) and for ensuring there is adequate breakfast and soup offerings for the needs of the day.
Working in and out of a cold deep freezer, the morning baker will also be responsible for utilizing production sheets to help keep track of what is made and also taught the proper safe food handling including how to take initial temperatures and keeping good records to ensure any expired product is dealt with.
This is a difficult position that will keep you on your feet for most of the duration of the seemingly quick shifts.
Other Requirements :
Tim Hortons experience is an asset but not necessary.Salary Range: $11.00 per hour
