Reconciliation IS for Everyone: An Evening with Niigaan Sinclair
A powerful evening of storytelling and action, inspiring our shared journey toward reconciliation.
Through compelling storytelling and practical insights, Niigaan will challenge us to see reconciliation not as a distant idea, but as a personal and collective responsibility. This event will bring together community leaders, businesses, and residents to foster meaningful dialogue and shared understanding, while raising support for Futureworx’s mission of building skilled, inclusive, and resilient communities across Nova Scotia.
Reconciliation is not a destination - it’s a shared journey that begins with each of us. It calls us to create space for truth, amplify Indigenous voices, and commit to building a more respectful and inclusive future.
Join us for this powerful event featuring Niigaan Sinclair, one of Canada’s most engaging Indigenous leaders and storytellers. Through his compelling voice, he weaves together history, lived experience, and hope for the future.

An evening with Dan Pallotta and special screening of UnCharitable
As we were planning for our 40th anniversary as a social-purposed, not-for-profit organization, UnCharitable resonated with us. As we embark on this year with gratitude, we were incredibly motivated to host a community animation event which includes a viewing of this documentary, and an impactful IN PERSON keynote presented by Dan following the exclusive viewing(s) of UnCharitable.
Futureworx wants to share its passion for this (social helpful) work by being a part of a movement to create a future where our diverse communities can come together to collaborate, innovate, celebrate achievements and success to dream boldly. We want to create a future where no one is left behind!
We look forward to hosting this event and continuing this important discussion.
