As a Continuing Care Assistant within our CBI/We Care Health Services team, you will call upon your nurturing and assisting skills to provide overall care to clients. In this position you will assist clients with personal care, lifts and transfers, toileting, bathing, and feeding. You will also provide light housekeeping support, prepare meals and other duties as assigned to keep our clients happy healthy and independent in their homes.
- Provincially designated CCA certification or currently engaged in a CCA or Nursing Program with first clinical placement complete;
- Must be bondable;
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search – completed within the past 6 months;
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR level “C” Certification;
- Able to work flexible hours;
- Bending and lifting may be required;
- Reliable transportation;
- Loyal, responsible and trustworthy.
