Work Centre
provides enhanced program delivery with a unique student focused approach to training; combining work placements, technical, essential and employability skills, so as to, facilitate sustainable attachment to the labour market.

*additional CCA program offerings occur throughout Nova Scotia based on labour market demand.

Continuing Care Assistant / Development Centre
provides Continuing Education, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL); and a variety of Certificate Courses for non-certified frontline care providers who aim to gain provincial CCA Certification.

Customized Training
provide short term employability and technical skills training throughout the province. They are tailored to respond to the specific recruitment demands of local industry, linking students to employers.

Nova Scotia Works

Futureworx is now a Nova Scotia Works Employment Services Centre. We help job seekers and employers navigate a range of programs – from career planning, job searches and on-the-job development to recruitment, planning and HR support.

Employability Skills Assessment Tool

The Employability Skills Assessment Tool (ESAT) provides a framework and quantitative assessment methodology for the development of nine employability skills: motivation, attitude, accountability, time management, stress management, presentation, teamwork, adaptability and confidence.
